A light, architectural console that balances open structure with refined storage. #### About the Goodwood Console The Goodwood Console is defined by its openness and restraint. Rather than presenting as a solid mass, the design emphasizes lightness through negative space, slender proportions, and a clear visual rhythm. Upper storage is balanced by open shelving below, creating a piece that works equally well for display and everyday use. The form feels deliberate but not heavy, offering presence without visual weight. Designed for living spaces that value clarity and structure, the Goodwood Console brings order without enclosure and function without excess. The Goodwood Console is guided by proportion and balance, combining closed and open elements into a unified architectural form. Each detail supports visual lightness, stability, and long term usability. - Open, architectural frame with intentional negative space - Balanced combination of enclosed storage and open shelving - Slim proportions designed to feel light yet grounded - Solid hardwood construction throughout - Joinery designed for strength and long-term stability ## Materials and Finish. The Goodwood Console is built using solid hardwoods selected for stability, character, and durability. Materials are chosen not only for appearance, but for how they perform and age over time. Finishes are applied to protect the wood while preserving its natural variation. The goal is clarity rather than uniformity, allowing the piece to develop character through use rather than conceal it. ## Availability and Variations. The Goodwood Console is built to order as part of the Redbird Signature Series. Each piece follows the same resolved design, ensuring consistency in proportion, structure, and overall form. Limited variations may be available depending on the piece, such as wood selection or finish, while preserving the integrity of the original design. Availability varies throughout the year and follows the same deliberate pace as our custom work. ## Ready to Bring a Redbird Piece Into Your Home? Start with a short conversation. No pressure.
